PrintI don't know that you can glean a whole lot about this team from a win like this, but I really just wanted to post a headline with that score in it. This was a bigger blowout win than Reagan over Mondale, Edward over Jacob, and Zac Robinson over the Pi Phi house combined.
The only real eye openers for me were Brian Williams coming in late in the 2nd half and pouring in three straight threes, Ray Penn going 2 for 3 from three, and JP Olukemi's line of 13 points and 3 rebs in 15 minutes.... oh, and Moses didn't foul out. If there is a negative it is that there were only 13 assists on 35 made baskets, but when everyone on the court can take their defender with ease, that kind of thing can happen. And to dig a little deeper into that negative, only 7 of those assists came from the guards (Moses had 3, Shaw 1, JP 2). I love that the bigs are finding open guys, but Ray Penn, Keiton Page, and Fred Gulley have to have more than 5 assists between the three of them.
