DeSoto defensive end Michael Richardson has committed to Texas A&M. The 6-2, 230-pound in the mold of Aggies star defender Von Miller from DeSoto will meet with A&M coach Mike Sherman during an invitation-only A&M Junior Day visit this weekend.
Richardson is a quick, undersized defensive end who could emerge as the hybrid DE/LB in which A&M used Miller in the "Joker" position of A&M defensive coordinator Tim DeRuyter. Richardson is very quick off the ball.
