Oklahoma State's Ray Penn Suspended Indefinitely
Another one bites the dust.
Oklahoma State Guard Ray Penn has been suspended indefinitely by head coach Travis Ford for a failure to follow team policy. The news was confirmed by the University Thursday evening.
The sophomore is averaging 6 points and 2 assists per game, and has played in every one.
I'll take this as good news. We have enough short dudes on the team so if he can't go to class or study, whatever. If anything, it opens up more playing time for the true point guard of this team, Reger Dowell.

Is it just a way for Ford to get rid of him?
Phase him out?
I really do think Reger is the future. Which begs the question…What the FUCK has Ford been doing all season?

The feeling I've had all year
is that this thing is a bunch of ill fitting parts that never jelled…just stayed like that all year.
Gotta say though, the most disturbing thing I’ve read today was not Penn’s suspension, but Moses’ twitter page. WTF?
it is pretty great/odd
we may need to make a list of best Moses tweets

Penn's suspension has to do with his grades.
With that said, it’s obvious that his lack of focus and effort in the classroom also carries over to the basketball court.
As far as Reger Dowell’s playing time goes, I think the light finally turned on for him during recent practices. The result of that has been more playing time and what finally looks like a more than adequate point guard.
Last year I looked at OU's team and thought they were a mess
This year, unfortunately I look at ours and think the same thing.
