Here's a website dedicated to the NIT (swear) that currently has us as a 5 seed. I think we'll be abetter seed that that after today's performance but who knows?

I really think it's the best thing for this team at this point.
An NCAA trip would have likely been against a superior team. We haven’t won many games against superior talent this season. If you look at the NITOLOGY, a team like Alabama would be a #1 seed. We beat them earlier this year and I think we could beat them again.
This team needs experience and time playing together. A few hom NIT games and then a trip to NYC would be a HUGE step for the maturity of this team. It would give them a taste of life in a tournament. Look at team like North Carolina last season. The NIT gave them something to build on tihs season and they won the ACC. A lot can happen in a year.
I’m not thrilled that we’re going to be in the NIT but i can get behind this team and cheer them on to MSG. Big pimpin.

I just don’t know what more they can do with the players we have. If someone, anyone, hell one of us, could sorta run point so page could be a shooter, I’d be pumped. Just seems like this season wasn’t meant to be. Gulley goes down, ray Penn busts out, Williams can keep his hands to himself, and page got 2 inches shorter after working out hard. Everything that could go wrong did. On the plus Moses stopped stabbing people who fouls him. So off we go to the nit.

I wouldn't say I'm pumped about it
But it’s more OSU sports on TV. Which could be a bad thing if they give up, but I don’t expect that from this team.
