Ray Penn "done" at Oklahoma State

PrintAccording to head coach Travis Ford, suspended point guard Ray Penn won't be returning to the team.
"He's not coming back," the OSU coach said. "He's done."
Penn, who averaged about 6 points and 2 rebounds per game was suspended late in February for "failure to follow team policy."
I can't say that I'm too disappointed in this news although had high hopes for the guy. A lot of those hopes were based on things like this:
Penn’s summer coach, John Eurey, says Penn is better right now than T.J. Ford was at this stage of his career. T.J. Ford also played for the Superstars.
"I think (Travis Ford’s) getting the best point guard in the country," Eurey said. "You can’t coach speed, and when a guy can shoot, that’s tough. He’s better than T.J. Ford at this level."
Eurey added that Penn wanted to test himself against elite competition in the Big 12.
"He wanted to play in a big conference," he said. "He wanted to play against the best players.
he wants to play against the best competition, he’s an elite player. He’s got a chance to lead them to a national championship or play in the NBA."
So much for that....

How will the Cowboys ever replace as turnover prone midget who couldn’t shoot? This is going to set the program back decades.
It's cool, we already have a midget who can sorta shoot. At least for one more year.

I blame you both if this sets us back decades
Like if the NCAA found out ford funneled money from Boone to Penn, and we had coke fueled orgies for recruits like lebryan Nash, and we get the death penalty, and it’s all cause ray Penn told. Then I’ll hate you both.

Whats really sad
is the Student Section will no longer get to chant “LETS GO RAY PENN!”
