Close, close game. I was pulling for Stanford (pac fan) but it’s also nice to see the school that’s always in the shadow of the other school in state get some glory. I go to Oregon State (orange and black are our colors, too :D ) and we’re always living in the shadow of Oregon lately.
Should have been in the NC game, but not a shabby year at all :)

I was gonna, but then I got a decent job offer and decided to take it
I’m in Huntsville Alabama for the next year or so (training), the wife is still in Oklahoma, then we’ll figure out where I’m going. She’s not real happy about the current situation.

What exactly has Alabama done to separate itself from OSU or Stanford?
Last I checked, OSU beat the 4th best team in the nation. If LSU beats Bama again, which victory does the Tide they hang their hat on? An overrated Arkansas?

Asmaki needs to give me a call (and the 2nd ticket) and I will happily provide a vehicle, foot the gas bill, and share my beer. My ride’s ugly, dirty, uncomfortable, and has 186,000mi, but by god it’d get us there. And after the coolers are packed I could even just barely make room for a tent.
Oh well. Stuff happens, Asmaki, we all been there. Would have been great to drop a people’s elbow on the Stanford Drum Major.

Yeah.... Gotta say would have figured something out had I been a first time OU game, or bowl game & got free tickets!
Hell, true story, I was so pissed at my parents for not footing a trip to el paso (with was I thinking), that I started a bowl game fund. Assholes didn’t make a bowl for the next 4 years! So I wiped it out on a kick ass trip to the sugar bowl!
