I'm still trying to figure out how the 4th best team in the Big 12 gets the 8th best bowl. Was Holder too busy convincing his coach to stay rather than lobbying for a better bowl? Why all the hate? What have we done to everybody? What on earth did the fourth best team in the Big 12 do to drop 4 spots?

Looking on the bright side, this does give us a chance to recount the inception of CRFF in San Antonio against Purdue in 1997. We drank Boilermakers and hung out with a backup QB at Purdue name Drew Brees. Good times. Purdue beat the shit out of us that night. We left the Builders Square Alamo Dome with the realization that maybe we just weren't that good. We weren't, but it was a hell of a lot of fun.

So don't be a spoiled Oklahoma State fan. Yes, it's a long way from the Fiesta Bowl but it wasn't long ago when just making a bowl game was the goal. Go to the game, drink boilermakers and meet some plump girls good people from Indiana. Worst case, you'll be more appreciative of what you've got back home. Best case, you'll get drunk on beer mixed with whiskey and not remember a thing.
