Young back in charge of Oklahoma State defense - College Football News | FOX Sports on MSN

Good feature from FOX Sports on Bill Young and his return to duties as defensive coordinator. I like to think that Young's absence had nothing to do with the Cowboys struggles against Arizona, but regardless it will be good for things to get back to normal with Young running the D.

Oklahoma State football notebook: Mike Gundy meets with Calvin Barnett to discuss penalties | NewsOK.com

This notebook highlights Gundy's take on Calvin Barnett's penalty issues against Arizona. There is no doubt that the defensive line is going to be crucial for the team going forward, so hopefully all issues have been sorted out. Barnett needs to be the force that he is instead of a liability. Also it's interesting that later on, Todd Monken essentially takes the blame for Wes Lunt's third interception.

Scout.com: Key Points: Gundy previews Louisiana

In this Q-and-A session with Gundy, it is clear he was not pleased with the team's effort against Arizona. Obviously, the team will be highly focused going into Saturday's matchup with Louisiana-Lafayette. The key point of this article, though, is Gundy's criticism of Barnett, the defense, and running back Joesph Randle. Nothing wrong with a coach that tells it like it is.
