The bottom four seeds in the 2013 Big 12 Tournament will be in action on Wednesday at the Sprint Center in Kansas City beginning with an 8/9 contest between the West Virginia Mountaineers and Texas Tech Red Raiders.
The Mountaineers had a rough go in their first year in the Big 12 finishing just 6-12 in conference play and 13-18 overall. Two of those wins came over Texas Tech who went just 3-15 in league games so yeah, they aren't real good, But it's March and we're talking about Bob Huggins here and that's why I'll watch. The winner of this game gets Kansas.
The second game will be almost as miserable when Texas faces TCU. Both teams finished the season with a losing record but Texas beat Oklahoma and TCU beat Kansas and Oklahoma. Go figure. The winner of this game game will get the Kansas State Wildcats.
You can find both games on the Big 12 Network. An updated Big 12 Tournament Bracket can be found here.
