Gundy says "No" to banning social media among players

+

It permeates every moment of all of our lives, whether we participate or not.

Clemson's head football coach made headlines recently for banning his players from USING social media during the season. They can keep their accounts, they just aren't allowed to use them. Interestingly enough, Gundy is fairly friendly with that coach, so it apparently came up recently in a meeting.

I think his take on it is intriguing given his more revealing tweets recently about practice, which we aren't accustomed to seeing, and falls along the lines of other, much more serious debates, such as sex ed.

Clemson is teaching "abstinence." Gundy is opting for openness and "education."

Let's see if either really makes a difference.
