With the Browns already squashing any chance of a quarterback controversy, they named Brandon Weeden the starting quarterback before week one. That is week one of the preseason, before they really had a chance to see what he can do against NFL teams and players. Don’t get me wrong, Colt McCoy is not the answer nor is he that good of a quarterback, but at the same time the unknowns on Weeden scare me.
I am good with McCoy staying. He just completed his first year of play calling and can only improve, but if he does become a head coach, who should we look at to replace him, and what style of offense?
It's been forever since I've posted these, now two in a row?! Anyway, I'm not really sure how to react to this. On the one hand, Farve has a wealth of experience from which to draw. On the other, I just dislike him.
