Yes... basketball season is happening right now, and this Cowboys team is going to have to figure out their identity soon or one of these "warm-up teams" is going to get them. And Nicholls could be the team to do it. They are 1-1 on the season with their loss being in overtime to Houston and their win coming @ LSU. They have these two dudes, Anatoly Bose (F, 6-6, 200) and Fred Hunter (G, 6-5, 240) that can ball (the verb). Both average in the mid 20's in PPG, and Hunter averages 7.5 rebounds from his guard position. I'm thinking Sidorakis and Gulley will matchup up with Bose and they will have their hands full.

- Figure out who the Pokes go-to scorer is. Honestly... if this game comes down to a last second shot, who does Travis draw up a play for? Does he just draw names out of a hat? This team needs a go-to man/play/set so bad. And I refuse to believe that the go-to-man is Moses (although...I am kinda willing to accept that Moses and Darrell Williams combined are the go-to scorers). We need a wing (Olukemi or Brown), or a guard (Page, Penn) to step up.
- Make 75% of 5-foot and in shots
- Either learn to rotate help in man-to-man or play a zone the whole game
- Less isolation, more extra passes to create space...I also like the 2-man game (with a guard and a big) they ran a few times vs Texas A&M CC.
