Oklahoma State will host the Stanford Cardinal tonight in a game that will conclude the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series. The Big 12 leads the series 27-20. The game will be televised in ESPNU.

Stanford is averaging 67.1 points per game shooting just 43.3 percent from the floor and grabbing just 37 offensive rebounds. Defensively, teams shoot just 40.2 percent against them but they have played the 305th ranked schedule in the country.

What does this mean? They haven't been tested.

In a game against recent Cinderella Butler - they were blown out and gave up more than 80 points. They've lost to Tulsa and Murray State, both of whom Oklahoma State has wins against.

Stanford Players to Watch:
#45 Jeremy Green, #24 Josh Owens

Stanford relies heavily on Green to be the man on offense every time out, and he has led the team in scoring in each of the last four outings. He's averaging 16.4 ppg this season, but his 39 percent shooting from the field leaves a little to be desired.  The only other Cardinal in the fold is #24 Josh Owens, who brings 10 points and 6 boards a game.

Oklahoma State

The Cowboys are 11 games in to this season and are close to wrapping up non-conference play and heading in to the daunting task of Big 12 basketball play.

Many of the wins have not been pretty, but they've only dropped 1 game and that was against a strong Virginia Tech team. The bottom line for me is that this team is getting the job done. It almost feels like they are a Big Ten team like Wisconsin playing in Big 12 uniforms.

Solid Defense. strong inside game, good rebounding,  pale white guards... You following?

I expect another solid defensive performance tonight. Marshall Moses will have a big game as both a scorer and a rebounder and the Big 10 Cowboys will grind yet another one out in preparation for a New Year's Eve battle with Gonzaga .
