We’ve had an awesome season. More than I could have ever dreamed of ten years ago when we were just happy to spoil OU’s shot at a second straight national championship. To heck with the BCS title game anyway. If they voters want a replay of one of the most boring games of the year then they deserve what they get.

We can’t do anything about man. Don’t let it ruin what’s an otherwise awesome season just because a bunch of people, most of whom don’t even watch the games of the teams they’re voting, on can’t be convinced to see reason. At some point you just have to take college football for what it is. A fun but extremely flawed sport.

No you didn't say that. Let me re-phrase

I woke up this morning thinking only what are our chances of getting into the BCS title game? Then at some point I realized that I was going to be disappointed if we didn’t get in and by extension in my mind if we didn’t get in, for me at that point it would taint what was unequivocally the most successful season in OSU football history. Right there I decided to forget all that. That’s all I’m saying, whatever happens from here on out I’m good. No one can take away from me or diminish what our team did. They won the Big 12 and kicked OU’s asses to do it. If you’d told me that at the beginning of the year I would have been ecstatic and so I choose to be ecstatic now in spite of the ridiculousness that is the rematch title game and the mostly uninformed voters who will decide who plays in it.
