I will pray to God that LSU annihilates Alabama. I never had a problem with the system until now. I am disgusted by this bias towards the SEC. OSU, sorry you got robbed. I feel for you.

No they can’t. I’ll go a step further, the SEC East is down. There I said it. The SEC West was garbage from 94-01. The SEC is the best conference and the West and East take turns dominating.

I was all for a LSU-Oklahoma NCG. The bottom line is that LSU is the only team that deserves to play in the NCG. They should complain that they even have to play for the crystal ball.

when your conference is being touted as the be-all, end-all conference, best that ever was, by every bootlicking television talking head. Bullshittin’ won’t figure out who’s the best team, only a playoff system will do that, and as long as big money rules, a playoff isn’t going to happen.

So that when an SEC team wins the championship, they can piggyback it. I say this as a fan of ACC basketball. Conference solidarity is hilarious.

I’ll probably get blasted just for being a Bama fan, but good luck in your game with Stanford. The system sucks. Everyone has to politic and the fans don’t get what they really want in a playoff. Maybe now the Big12 will support the SEC the next time the SEC proposes a +1 format. Here’s a thought I haven’t seen anyone else point out: If Bama wins a close game over LSU and OSU beats the crap out of Stanford (both very realistic outcomes), I personally think the AP should vote OSU #1 and split the championship. That’s the best possible outcome given the current system. Hopefully some day we’ll have a 4, 6, or 8 team playoff to solve this problem the right way.

First off, I do not in any way support Alabama. Now that that’s out of the way, to read you all talk about how the system is corrupt and you were cheated out of a championship is just sad. It is a fact that the computers and voters heavily favor the Big 12 over the SEC; Oklahoma is ranked 4th in certain computer polls and 6-6 Texas A&M is ranked 13th, and every single preseasn Oklahoma is hailed as a championship contender no matter how hard they choke year-in and year-out; your team enjoys the benefit of the doubt in an apples-to-apples contest with the Tide. No one stole anything from you this season except Iowa State. If you won a game against a moderately unskilled opponent, you would be headed to New Orleans. All of you clamoring for a playoff keep talking about Utah v Bama, funny how you all mention the same game, could it be because its the only example you can come up with of the SEC being dominated in the BCS? A playoff, a plus one, any postseason system would yield Bama v. LSU this season. You choked to a 6-6 team and beat another 6-6 team by a margn of one point but claim you would beat a team who has THROTTLED every team they played other than the impending national champions. My advice, which you’ll surely tell me to shove up my ass, is to be content that one loss did not eliminate you from a major BCS bowl, because if you want to bitch and moan, Boise will gladly take your spot.
