What's Next for OSU Basketball? Washington State or Long Beach State?

Oklahoma State improved to 20-13 last night after a win against Haaarvard (will never get old) and will play the winner of the Washington State/Long Beach State that takes place tonight.

The date and site will be determined by the winner of this game. If Washington State Wins, we travel to Pullman. If Long Beach State wins, we get another home game.

Go Niners.

Washington State (19-12) finished 6th in the Pac 10 with a 9-9 record. They lost to Kansas State at home and beat Gonzaga at home.  They are currently on a 2 game losing streak. They have not won more than 2 games in a row all season.

6-6 Junior guard Klay Thompson leads the team and currently ranks eighth in the country with 22.1 points per game. He had 43 points in his last outing against Washington.

Long Beach State (18-13) was on an 11 game winning streak before losing to NCAA tourney team UC Santa Barbara, The Niners are led by 5-10 guard Casper Ware and most likely hang their hat on a 5 point loss to UNC in Chapel Hill.

Obviously, we want to root for the 49ers. Another home game would be great for the Pokes and would likely get us a road game at Boston College for a trip to MSG.

You can catch this barn burner of a game tonight at 9pm on ESPNU.
