OSU's chance at Masters glory heated up today as former OSU golfer Bo Van Pelt took a commanding stance  going into tomorrow's final round.  Van Pelt lost 4 shots to go -6 under at the end of round three.  Although Van Pelt is six shots back of Rory McIlory who is at -12 under, history has shown anything can happen on the final day at Augusta. Van Pelt is more than capable of having another great day that could put him in a duel with McIlroy. For right now, Van Pelt is all alone at eighth place.

Rickie Fowler had the benefit of playing today with golf legend Fred Couples, but he still fell back four shots to -1 under to tie for 24th place.  Old man Couples, on the other hand, is still in the hunt at -5 under.  Fowler is going to have to have a career day tomorrow to even get back to the top ten. But don't think he can't do it.  Rickie's Ryder cup comeback last year is enough to tell you this kid could still have a top ten finish tomorrow.  Look for Fowler to be in full ORANGE mode tomorrow, and adjust your TV's accordingly.

Returning Masters champ Phil Mickleson had another "meh..." day gaining one shot to go -3 under.  Tiger too was less than impressive with four bogeys on the day to go back to -5 under.  However, Tiger has shown that he can gain ground quickly, especially when he is in full Sunday Red Tiger mode.  So, we'll wait and see.
