Hello everyone! Today, Yachoff is pleased to be joining CRFF. This is only the start of many: poorly conceived, obsolete USSR jokes, posts about OSU athletics and culture, non-sequitur essays about Phil Collins, and explanations of why Oklahoma State is the best university in the world.
The Masters began today in Augusta, Georgia, with Irishman Rory McIlroy and Spaniard Alvaro Quiros sharing the lead at -7 under by days end. Former Cowboy Rickie Fowler started off the day with a bogey, then fell to +2 on the twelfth hole before going on a four birdie surge to finish the day at -2 under. Lefty Mickelson also finished -2 under, and that rascal Tiger Woods finished at -1 under. The story of the day for me was OSU golfer Peter Uihlein's EVEN round. He made a solid four birdies, but chased them with four bogeys. Still, Uihlein and two others are tied for the low amateur at the moment. Former Cowboy Bo Van Pelt had two birds and three boogers to end at +1, and Hunter Mahan fell off the map with 7 bogeys and 4 birdies to finish +3, but if I traveled around with a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, I'd get distracted too.
Tune in to CRFF in the coming days for more "OSU at the Masters" coverage. Also, there will be some real top-notch Swedish pickup lines for hitting on Elin Nordegren. See you then!
