Prestige Rankings: Scoring system explanation - ESPN
ESPN decided it was their turn to rank football programs. It seems like a few times a year one of the major sports sites attempts this using some formula they concoct. Don't get me wrong, I am all for bullshit rankings, it just seems that this program prestige one has become a little played out. But here it is nonetheless. And one thing these are good for, is when we start thinking that 9 wins should be a guarantee, we need to just look at how OSU stacks up historically, take a deep breath, drink a few beers, and enjoy recent success.
