Here’s a link to the Daily O’Collegian’s football preview edition. The cover is just plain nasty. As for the content, the issue itself can be downloaded as a PDF, and it’s packed with football. Everything from previews, predictions and quotes from the players are included. Be sure to take a look.

OSU football notebook: All hands on deck | Tulsa World

As Jimmie Tramel of the Tulsa World points out, Oklahoma State has a host of young players on the depth chart. Yes, the key players are gone. Yes, young guys starting. Yes, freshmen will be getting plenty of playing time. But depth across the board, not just at wide receiver, will be a strong suit for this 2012 team. Tramel also gives statistics regarding the recent history of quarterback protection for the Cowboys, and although the O-line has seen changes, a history of success bodes well for OSU.

Tending To The Turf - Oklahoma State Official Athletic Site

Cool feature from okstate.com on the school’s turf managers. These guys deserve props for doing an excellent job keeping the fields looking nice, especially when the soccer and baseball complexes in particular are so outdated. The playing surface is the strong suit of both venues. These guys are doing what they love and they do a great job.
