Based on reports from the field, every suited player for Oklahoma State (over 100?) got in the game, and not just for one play.
Savannah State chose poorly when picking their first ever FBS opponent. Not enough money to endure that beating. About the only thing they can claim is that they allowed 1 less TD in the first half than Kansas did last year (56). The one qualification...most of our starters played most of that first half. The Tigers saw our reserves BEFORE the end of the first quarter.
Records were broken, but they should include an asterisk. FCS opponents shouldn't count...unless your Michigan (App St)...or Pittsburgh (Youngstown St).
You can relax a little, Cowboy fans. 70% of you got exactly what you wanted in points for and against, yet we learned little to hang our hat on other than Savannah State is REALLY bad. Wonder how their felling about their 2nd FBS opponent, Florida State? At least they will be a lot closer to home.
