No. 18 Oklahoma State facing stiffer challenge against Arizona after drubbing Savannah State - The Washington Post

Oklahoma State hits for a preview of Satruday's matchup with Arizona. Some have called this game an early season trap, and although Arizona may be revitalized under Rich Rodriguez, the Cowboys should come out of Tuscon unscathed. Still, this game should serve as a great measurement of the team's progress.

Know your foe: Five questions with Tucson Citizen beat writer Anthony Gimino | OSU Cowboys

Here is an informative Q-and-A with Tuscon Citizen writer Anthony Gimino. The thing that stands out to me is Gimino's take on RichRod, noting his charisma and unique coaching style. Obviously, things didn't work out well at Michigan, but he is a good fit for Arizona. That could be a program on the rise in years to come. Just not Saturday.

Oklahoma State basketball: Kurt Budke's son, Alex, will be a walk-on for Cowboys |

It's really to cool to see Alex Budke make the men's basketball team as a walk-on. The son of Kurt Budke, women's coach who died in the tragic plane crash last year, Alex transferred to OSU this fall. Coach Travis Ford made sure to note that this is not a charity roster spot, and with all roster changes that have gone on recently, that is believable. Hope things work out for Budke.
