Meet Mitch Solomon. The 6'9'' Bixby native, is considered the best player in Oklahoma for the 2014 recruiting class. He possesses several desirable attributes that most players his size don't have. He has great hands, the ability to shoot from three, and active on the offensive glass.

The instate three star prospect, is the third recruit to give his verbal commitment to Travis Ford and the Cowboys, joining guards Jared Terrell and Jeff Newberry. Solomon, who is the 118th player in the country and 29th power forward, according to the 247Sports Rankings, picked OSU soon after taking his official visit last week. Some of his reported other scholarship offers were Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt to name a few off his list, but in the end Mitch decided to call Stillwater his future stomping grounds.

Solomon who shows a nice soft jumper but isn't afraid to use his close to 230 pound frame to bang with the big boys in the post, should be a prime contender for key minutes as soon as he hits campus next season.
