Here is what Rivals has on the scouting report for Burton:
One of those solid all-around wings who does a little bit of everything. He is a good athlete, will crash the glass, finishes in transition and has turned himself into a pretty good shooter. His ball handling is a bit shaky at times but has definitely improved in the last year
This is the third 4 star recruit Oklahoma State has landed for 2014. Joe Burton will join center Mitch Solomon out of Bixby, OK and shooting guard Jared Tarrell from Wolfeboro, NE. Oklahoma State is also on the short list for forward and 4 star prospect Devin Robinson listed as the 28th overall player in the ESPN 100 rankings.
