This Oklahoma State blog started as something called "Wasted Optimism" back in the summer of 2010. Sam and Cincy admirably brought that appropriate OSU fan title to life, and it soon joined the fledgling SB Nation network a few months after its birth.
As with all things, growth brings change, and Cowboys Ride For Free is no different. Sam and Cincy have moved on to other parts of their lives, and I have recently taken over as the site administrator.
Mark Travis and King remain as main contributors to the site, but we need more voices to provide depth and diversity to the content that is uniquely ours.
If you are an aspiring sports journalism student, or just a fan like me that needs an outlet (otherwise my wife would shoot me, multiple times), we would invite you to provide your personal twist on all things Oklahoma State.
Don't worry, there is plenty of room at CRFF for those who would post occasionally to some folks who need to vent on a weekly basis. Whether you are all about analysis, opinion, or taking advantage of the myriad of opportunities to poke fun at sports we take way too seriously, there are plenty of chances to share your thoughts.
