Oklahoma State Recruiting: Weekend Recap

Future Oklahoma State Cowboys produced big time performances this week across the country.

The regular season came to an end for many of the future Cowboys this weekend as attention shifts towards playoffs:

QB Mason Rudolph had a season first 100-yard rushing game (9 rushes for 109 yards) as he led Northwestern to a perfect season defeating Rock Hill 66-19. Rudolph went 22 for 30 and 5 touchdowns and finished the season with a 41 to 3 touchdown to interception ratio.

WR Keenen Brown was sensational catching 10 passes for 206 yards and a touchdown. CB Chris Hardeman and the Alief Taylor defense held rival Alief Hastings to just 80 total yards in a 55-0 touchdown.

WR Chris Lacy was on the receiving end of 4 touchdown passes in a 54-14 Desoto win over Mansfield. Lacy finished with 6 catches for 99 yards. Both Lacy and Brown continue to put up huge numbers for their squads.

DE Cole Walterscheid had a big game offensively catching 6 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown. Muenster beat Era 42-0.

DT Jeremiah Ledbetter ended with 10 tackles (1 for a loss) but Hutchinson lost to Butler on a field goal in the final minutes of the game 24-21.

LB Devante Averette played his final game for Ellsworth Comunity college. Ellsworth lost 25-11 to College of Dubuge. Averette finished 77 tackles on the season (23.5 for a loss) and 3 sacks. He also added a forced fumble and fumble recovery in 7 total games.

RB Devon Thomas carried the ball 26 times for 57 yards as Broken Arrow won a hard fought battle with Westmoore 20-10. LB Gyasi Akem and the Broken arrow defense had a key goal line stand and forced 3 turnovers in the win. Akem finished with 5 tackles on the night.

P Zach Sinor had 2 punts averaging 48 yards as Medina Valley defeated Uvalde 37-14.

OL Lemaefe Galea'i and the Euless Trinity offense rolled early in the 1st quarter with 35 points in a 49-14 win over Carrolton Turner.

DE Jordan Brailford and Booker T. Washington won 37-24 over Bartlesville setting up a round one playoff game in Oklahoma Class 6A against Broken Arrow and future teammates Gyasi Akem and Devon Thomas.

ATH Trey Roberts finished with 3 catches for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns as Eisenhower beat Houston Aldine 62-3. Roberts big play of the game came on a 79 yard touchdown catch.

CB Juwan Offray and DT Joyan Williams helped Edna Karr clintch a playoff birth in a 47-26 win over Easton.

LB Justin Phillips and Pearland defeated Pasadena Dobie 38-7.

CB Dylan Harding helped lead the Jenks Trojans to a perfect regular season beating Putnam City 56-7.

LB Josh Mabin and Klein Oak beat Klein Forest 39-14.

OT Matthew Mucha saw his season come to an end Friday as Clear Lake defeated Dickinson 24-21.
