Several Oklahoma State commits had byes in the opening round of the playoffs, however there was no shortage of great performances by the rest of the future Pokes:
QB Mason Rudolph and Northwestern started their playoff run in dominant fashion beating West Florence 52-22. Randolph went 21 of 27 passing for 276 yards and 6 touchdowns. Rudolph also ran for 33 yards and another touchdown. For the year, Rudolph has completed 72.8% of his passes for 3,373 yards and 47 touchdowns with just 6 interceptions, while rushing for a team high 434 yards.
WR Keenen Brown finished his night with 3 catches for 64 yards while rushing for 9 yards as Alief Taylor escaped with a playoff victory over Langham Creek 27-23. CB Chris Hardeman helped on the defensive front in the comeback win.
WR Chris Lacy had 7 catches 168 yards as Desoto blew out Copperas Cove 67-21 in their playoff opener. Lacy had a long 74 yard catch for a touchdown as well as a late rushing touchdown.
RB Devon Thomas and LB Gyasi Akem helped Broken Arrow rout Booker T. Washington in the first round of the playoffs 44-14. Thomas finished with 20 carries for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns in the victory.
ATH Ramon Richards saw his first action in 3 weeks after suffering a concussion. Richards completed 26 of 43 his passes for 279 yards and 2 touchdowns, however Brackenridge lost 45-20 to Buda Hays effectively ending the season.
OL Lemaefe Galea'i and the rest of the Euless Trinity offensive line took care of business in a 49-21 playoff victory over Flower Mound Marcus. The Euless Trinity running backs averaged 16 yards a carry on the night.
DE Jordan Brailford saw his season come to an end as Booker T Washington lost to Broken Arrow 44-14.
ATH Trey Roberts and Eisenhower suffered a season ending defeat to Houston Cypress Ridge 24-23.
CB Juwan Offray and DT Joyan Williams helped Edna Karr to an easy opening round playoff victory 53-7 over Salmen. Offray had an interception resulting in a touchdown.
LB Justin Phillips and Pearland opened the playoffs with a win over Dear Park 42-20.
CB Dylan Harding and Jenks escaped their first playoff game, beating Owasso 14-10.
