Electric. If there is a word to describe the way Oklahoma State commitment Ramon Richards plays the game of football, it is electric. With an elusive nature that is found in most premier punt returners. I haven't seen many players possess that ability, at the quarterback positon.
What will disappoint a lot of fans after watching Richards film is that he will never play quarterback at Oklahoma State. Although his style of play may be an exciting brand of football, it would not carry over into the college ranks. Players with his ability and skill set typically get hurt playing the way Richards does at the next level.
Richards has been recruited by most schools as either a receiver or a safety. Looking at Richards tape, who wouldn't want a player like Richards in the slot receiver position. His ability to work in space (even the smallest amount) shows that Richards could be a threat over the middle of the field, which is typically congested with defensive players.
As a safety, it appears that Richards has the size and athletic ability to cover the field well, but would like to see more from him at the position before completely buying into him at that postion. With an athlete like Richards, it is easy to stick him at any position and feel comfortable with him being out there.
