Cowgirl Basketball Roundup

So a weekly article has turned into a monthly article. It happens right?

Peter G. Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

****UPDATE****

Cowgirls used a late run to finally take the lead and pull away for a 64-56 win over KU, keeping them in a tie for first in the Big 12 with West Virginia, who defeated Tx Tech earlier tonight. They hold a 1/2 game lead over the Lady Bears.

Tiffany Bias led the way with 14 points. Liz Donohoe added 12 pts & 10 rebounds. Ro Johnson contributed 7 pts off the bench. Bias got a nice shout out from Rebecca Lobo...

Bias also recorded her 1400th point and 700th assist for OSU. Andrea Riley is the only player with more assists.

Now comes Baylor on Sunday afternoon at 3pm CT in GIA. Come support Coach Littell and the team!!!

Greetings from miserable south Texas. Seriously, how the hell is it supposed to be 19 degrees when your an hour south of San Antonio? And I figured there'd be awesome Mexican food here, wrong. Anyhow, the Cowgirls are now 15-1, which I believe is the best start in school history (well, technically tied for the best start with the '97-'98 squad.)

After losing to West Virginia on the 4th, the Cowgirls have rattled off 4 straight W's and are looking to make it 5 with a win in Lawrence tonight against the Lady Jayhawks. Some quick stats, in Big 12 play the Cowgirls have the number one scoring defense, number four scoring offense, oh and we have the longest winning streak in the conference right now.

I hate to be so brief, but the Cowgirls are amazing this year, and we need to get behind them immediately. I'm not saying that we're currently not, as fans, but let's go crazy.

I'm off to inspect another rig for a failure analysis, carry on children.
