Quick Recap: Kansas State Curb Stomps The Cowboys 48-14

First off, if you want to rant, vent, say horrible horrible things about coaches and player, curse their extended families, and just generally burn the proverbial couch, have at it. At least the fans can show some fire. Now then on to the game. It was a football game for all of about one half, then the wheels fell completely off. I'm not even going to give you analysis on what happened with the X's and O's, because frankly I don't care anymore, but seeing as this is a recap I'll give you some "highlights."

Well for exactly one drive we looked like a competent offense, and then from there I guess we remembered who we were. After having our streak of 20 point games broken we got back to 20 tonight. Oh we didn't score 20 in the game tonight, but if you add up the last three we're up to 26. What's next, oh yes the coaches have almost succeeded in their quest to kill Tyreek Hill, he's gone down a few times, but he did give us our first 100 yards rusher in a game this season. Moving forward we did get a 3rd down conversion, then had the ball stripped and returned about 50 yards.

I'm going to say a few things that everyone is thinking, and I refuse to apologize for it. First, everyone playing on the offensive line, you should quit the team. You are absolutely the worst unit I've ever seen of any Oklahoma State team since I started watching the Cowboys in 2003. I think we have to go back to about '92 to find a worse unit. You're on the way to giving up the most sacks in the history of Cowboy football, and you should honestly be ashamed. Just, damn.

Next to the defense, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. You try, you play pretty good, you get a few stops, and you get absolutely nothing back from the other side of the ball. I don't know why you keep playing so hard, because you will never get anything remotely resembling help from them.

Moving on, Mike Gundy, You're doing a job so terrible I almost believe you're doing it on purpose. This isn't acceptable. Ripping on Yurcich isn't even worth it, so in so far over his head it's like a janitor being made CEO.

To end on something positive, Kip Smith should be a finalist for the Ray Guy, I don't think any punter in America has punted the ball more times than Smith.

Oh and fuck Bill Snyder for going for it on 4th down with 50 seconds left in the 4th up huge.

By my count the Big 12 will have half the lead miss bowl games, so I guess we're in good company.
