The Oklahoma State Cowboys didn't play this past weekend but the Dallas Cowboys did. The Cowboys have four former Pokes on their squad and all four former Pokes played in the Dallas game on Sunday over in London.
This whole series of posts started ten weeks ago and up until a few weeks ago no one other than Dez Bryant, Dan Bailey and Perrish Cox did diddly squat. That all changed a few weeks ago when Joe Randle and Tyler Patmon both had big weeks. Ever since then it's like a flip has been switched and almost all of the former Pokes are producing at high levels.
Dan Bailey (Cowboys) - Bailey hit one of his two attempts against Jacksonville on Sunday. The FG he made was 54 yards out which gives him his fifth completed attempt from more than fifty yards on the season. He now has 17 makes on the season, good for sixth in the league.
Dez Bryant (Cowboys) - Last week I said that Dez Bryant was slacking and embarrassing me as a writer and in fantasy football. THOSE DAYS ARE OVER! Bryant had a freak day in London and grabbed six passes for 158 YARDS and TWO TOUCHDOWNS! Bryant is back and it's officially time to #ThrowUpTheX!
Keep in mind that Jacksonville is terrible, but that was still one hell of a play.
Perrish Cox (49ers) - When there is a huge play in a game there is always going to be controversy. This was once again true on Sunday afternoon when Saints TE Jimmy Graham was called for offensive pass interference on a HUGE pass that was completed for a touchdown. Who did Graham "push off" of? None other than former Poke, Perrish Cox. On Monday morning there was a big debate about whether it was a flop or push off. The 49ers ended up winning the game and Cox had six tackles on the day. I'll let you decide if it was a flop or not.
Justin Gilbert (Browns) - For weeks I have written about how his rookie season has been a roller coaster. Perhaps the ride is coming to a calm end. This week he played 13 snaps without allowing a catch despite playing through a heel injury. If he can stay healthy then expect Gilbert to continue to get limited playing time while still playing well.
Kendall Hunter (49ers) - DNP (injury)
Charlie Johnson (Vikings) - DNP (BYE)
Orie Lemon (Bucs) - Lemon continues to assimilate to the Bucs and played 16 snaps on special teams this week. The Bucs are a really bad football team so hopefully they give Orie a shot.
Russell Okung (Seahawks) - Last week he was hurt. This week he was not. This week the Seahawks set a franchise record for rushing yards in a game. Coincidence? Probably so, but that's irrelevant. Okung helped pave the road that Marshawn Lynch traveled en route to another big fantasy win for me 140 yards and FOUR TOUCHDOWNS.
Tyler Patmon (Cowboys) - The best story of the season just took an awful turn. Patmon had played well the past few weeks and was beginning to play a majority of the defensive snaps for Dallas. Against Jacksonville, Patmon injured his knee. The diagnoses is not good.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/OKstate?src=hash">#OKstate</a> ESPN reports Dallas Cowboys' CB Tyler Patmon could be out 3-4 weeks with a knee injury: <a href="http://t.co/uByBwJ0MGp">http://t.co/uByBwJ0MGp</a></p>— Kyle Fredrickson (@kylefredrickson) <a href="https://twitter.com/kylefredrickson/status/531907435192008704">November 10, 2014</a></blockquote>

Hopefully Patmon can return healthy in four weeks and improve on an already great rookie season.
Brandon Pettigrew (Lions) - After missing a few weeks due to an injury, Pettigrew was back at on Sunday. He had his best day of the year as he pulled in four catches for 28 yards.
Joe Randle (Cowboys) - When Randle isn't getting arrested or fighting teammates you can find him scoring his first touchdown of the year. Against Jacksonville, Randle had a season high seven carries for 56 yards and a touchdown.
WHAT. A. RUN.
Antonio Smith (Raiders) - The Raiders are bad. Like, the Raiders are really bad. They haven't won a game all season. Smith has been terrible for them. He didn't even record a tackle this week. Seriously, they played Denver. All you have to do to sack Manning is get past the offensive line and you've got a 38 year old sitting duck.
Josh Stewart (Titans) DNP (injury)
Lane Taylor (Packers) - The Packers beat the Bears by like 300 points which means that Lane Taylor got some more snaps. He whiffed on a few blocks but he would still be the best offensive lineman OSU had.
Brandon Weeden (Cowboys) - DNP (coach's choice)
Kevin Williams (Seahawks) - Williams didn't record a tackle but played well against the Giants. Defensive Tackle Brandon Mebane went down with an injury and so Williams should be expected to get more snaps to fill that role.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: DEZ BRYANT
No one else was even considered. Bryant is an absolute freak and no one can stop him. Nothing more will be said because a picture is worth 1,000 words.
Go Pokes and #BeatTexas!
