Oklahoma State To Unveil Another New Helmet This Season?

Do the Cowboys have a surprise in store for the Texas game?

A photo started circulating on Twitter today that show a possible new helmet for Oklahoma State.

It's always hard to know what's real and what's not with uniform rumors, but I'm going to lean on the side of real for this one. Rex and The Chief are part of the broadcast crew for Oklahoma State baseball, and therefore a pretty credible source.

The carbon fiber design complimented with a black and orange center stripe, black facemask, and Phantom Pete would be the third new helmet this season for the Cowboys.

The Pokes donned the chromed out orange helmets in the victory over Texas Tech earlier in the year, and showcased a throwback helmet in their last game against West Virginia.

No word yet on when the Pokes may wear the new helmets, but with only three games left on the season, it should be soon!
