2014 college football rankings, Week 12: Compiling the Top 25's
Missippi State and Florida State retained their spots this week at 1 and 2 respectively, but there are a lot of changes to the top after some big upsets on Saturday.
TCU remains in the top 10, and is the Big 12's highest ranking team, after dominating fellow top 10 team Kansas State. The Wildcats dropped to 13th in both the Coaches and the AP Poll after the loss, and the big win still left TCU on the wrong side of the playoff bubble. The Horned Frogs are ranked 5th in both polls.
Baylor embarrassed OU in Norman, and the bears were rewarded. They check in at 6th in the polls, and unlike TCU, they control their own destiny. Following the loss, Oklahoma was removed from the AP Poll, and dropped to 24th in the Coaches Poll. West Virginia also dropped out of the polls this week after being manhandled by Texas.
What do you think? Should the Big 12 teams be ranked higher? Is the conference getting the shaft?
