Here's the official statement released by Oklahoma State
"Oklahoma State University does not tolerate domestic abuse of violence. Based on the evidence and the serious allegations that have been made, Head Football Coach Mike Gundy has announced that Tyreek Hill has been dismissed from the OSU football team. He also has been dismissed from the track team. The allegations are under investigation by Stillwater Police and by the OSU Office of Student Conduct. Those processes will proceed independently."
Tyreek Hill was arrested last night on a complaint of domestic abuse after strangling, and punching his reportedly pregnant girlfriend. Disturbing details outlined in the probable cause affidavit leave a chilling image of what happened.
Oklahoma State's quick and decisive action is commendable in an otherwise sad situation.
