I pulled a groin celebrating Tyreek Hill's return, I accidentally shattered a beer bottle on my counter jumping around after Ben Grogan put it through, and as soon as I'm done here I'm going to get some loving from my wife. I don't even have it in me to sit here and present rational thoughts right now, I haven't had this feeling as a Poke fan before. I didn't even live in the state in 2001, I arrived in 2002 and loved every second of that, and 2011 was such dominance that I was relaxed at the end. Finally, finally, we won a classic Bedlam.
I can't even fathom how good we are going to be in the next few years with Rudolph at the helm, Tyreek will do Freek things next year, and the defense is just, I just love them. Seriously, I think Mason Rudolph has ice in his veins. He was never shaken no matter what happened. Listening to Rufus Alexander is just pure Sooner Magic right now, and I love every second of it.
It's hard to say any part of the game except Hill's punt return is the turning point where we put it away, but I think the defensive stop with 4 minutes left and the score we punched in a few seconds later was the start of the rally, and I think that gave the guys confidence that they could do this. Or you could look at the defensive stop with 1:01 left on the clock. Or Grogan for punching that bad boy in with authority after a shaky extra point just a couple of minutes earlier.
I don't care about if Mike Gundy is staying or going, I don't care if Mike Yurciich is gone or not, not tonight. I just want to enjoy the day.
I love everyone of you, I love the team, and I'm just so happy right now. Let's get drunk and party like its 2011.
