Houston native Chris Hardeman has officially signed with Oklahoma State. Hardeman is listed as the 24th best cornerback in the country by ESPN, and held offers from Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and UCLA among others.
Hardeman finished the 2012 season with 47 Tackles 1 INT, 22 Breakups, 1 Fumble Recovery for Alief Taylor.
Here is what Scout's Evaluation of Hardeman.
He plays a very physical style of coverage and often knocks receivers off their routes. He shows an good burst and the ability to change direction out of his back pedal. He takes very good angles to ball carriers and is not afraid to get inside the box and mix it up. Does an outstanding job at sticking with the receivers and making plays on the ball. He lacks ideal size and could potentially have problems with bigger receivers. Return specialist.
