Josh Mabin signs with Oklahoma State

Spring, Texas Native Josh Mabin has officially signed with Oklahoma State. Mabin, listed at 6-2 227 lbs, held offers from Baylor, Boise State, Colorado, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Washington State among others.

During his last two seasons at Klein Oak High School, Mabin combined for 199 tackles. Mabin is listed as the #13 inside linebacker in the country according to ESPN.

Strong, well-built and has a frame that looks capable of supporting more good bulk with further physical development. Explosive defender with good short-area power but needs to turn it into more functional strength. He displays good speed for the inside position and is certainly capable of pursuing sideline-to-sideline but we feel he has better short-range speed and burst.
