Joyan Williams signs with Oklahoma State

Defensive Tackle Joyan Williams has signed his Letter of Intent with the Cowboys

Edna Karr Defensive Tackle Joyan Williams has officially signed with Oklahoma State. Williams held offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Miami, and Southern Miss among others.

Listed as the 3-Star Defensive Tackle by ESPN and Rivals, Williams received Under Armor All-American honors as a senior. Williams and Edna Karr teammate and current Oklahoma State commit Juwan Offray helped lead Karr to the Louisiana State Class 4A State Championship game.

Here is ESPN's evaluation of Williams

Pass Rushing skills

Can generate some push back to press the pocket when he keeps pads down and has the strength to knock blockers off balance when active and violent with hands. Does good job running stunts, but more effective as the penetrator. Doesn't possess great leaping ability, but demonstrates a knack for knowing when to get his hands up and can tip passes.

Strong physical kid who looks to play with emotion. Range is marginal but flashes a solid closing burst and is a physical wrap-up tackler.
