James Washington signs with Oklahoma State

James Washington out of Samford, TX has officially signed with Oklahoma State. Washington held an offer from Texas State as well.

Washington, listed at 6-6 210 lbs, had a very successful senior campaign for Samford High School with 73 receptions for 1453 yards (19.9 average) and 28 touchdowns. In 2012, Washington had 78 receptions for 1172 Yards (15.0 average) and 22 touchdowns.

Washington possesses very good size for a Wide Receiver. He is tall enough and has some thickness to him that allows him to play strong. He runs with authority. His speed is above average as he can stick his foot in the ground and run away from most defenders.
