Running Backs Coach Jamal Singleton and the rest of the Cowboy Football coaching staff landed a huge commitment this weekend for the 2015 Recruiting Class. 6 foot 185 pound running back Ronald Jones II out of McKinney North High School in McKinney, Texas is headed to Stillwater.

Listed on Rivals.com as the #2 overall Running Back in the country in the 2015 class (39th overall), Jones held offers from close to 30 schools, including Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon and USC.
Ronald finished his junior season with 2406 yards (9.9 yards/carry) and 39 Touchdowns. Jones attended the Orange Blitz practice Saturday, and wanted to tell Coach Gundy he was ready to commit before leaving town.
Jones becomes the 3rd player in the 2015 class, joining Norman North quarterback John Kolar, and Midland Christian lineman Johnny Wilson.
