Oklahoma State's class of 2015 is on a roll, grabbing their second commitment in two days. Monday night, Motekiai Maile gave his verbal pledge to the Cowboys and today, '15 S Kenneth McGruder has given his. The 6'2, 203-pound safety from Houston, TX, is a three-star recruit that is ranked as the 61st best safety in the country and 99th best player from the large state of Texas.
McGruder held offers from Arkansas, Boise State, California, Iowa State, LSU, Nebraska, Oregon State, Texas San-Antonio, Tulsa, Utah, and Washington. He also was hearing from Houston, Kansas, SMU, Texas, and Texas A&M. McGruder should fit right into the mix at Oklahoma State, considering he comes from Alief Taylor high school in Houston, the same high school as 2014 signees Chris Hardeman and Keenan Brown.
McGruder showed his enthusiasm and excitement for his becoming a part of the Cowboy family, taking to Twitter to express his feelings:
I'm officially committed to Oklahoma State University!! I'm a cowboy people!!
