Oklahoma State has added their ninth commitment for the recruiting class of 2015 as head coach Mike Gundy has locked up '15 offensive tackle Joshua Jones from the state of Texas. Jones, a 6'5, 272-pound tackle, gave his commitment to the Pokes on Monday afternoon via his Twitter account, tweeting that he would become the newest member of the Cowboys.
The three-star is ranked as the 95th best offensive tackle in the country and 107th best prospect overall from the state of Texas, according to the 247Sports Composite. Jones held offers from Houston, Illinois, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Texas, Purdue, Rutgers, TCU, Texas Tech, Wake Forest, and was receiving interest from school such as Baylor, Rice, Texas, Texas A&M, and Tulsa.
Jones selected Oklahoma State over other rumored favorites of TCU and Texas Tech, but has been in close contact with the Cowboys coaching staff after receiving his offer on May 19. With Jones' commitment, the Cowboys recruiting class moves up to 50th in the country, and ranked seventh in the Big 12.
