Oklahoma State's Emmanuel Ogbah Awarded Big 12 Defensive Player Of The Week

You might want to remember the name Emmanuel Ogbah. His big time performance against Florida State earned him Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Emmanuel Ogbah wreaked havoc on what's pretty much an NFL offensive line at Florida State. They didn't have much of an answer for him as he got to the Heisman winning quarter back three times, one of which was called back due to a penalty on the play. He was simply a beast out there.

Ogbah's outstanding performance Saturday night earned the Sophomore DE Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week!

From the Big 12:

Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week
Emmanuel Ogbah, Oklahoma State, DE, So, Houston, Texas

Emmanuel Ogbah was a disruptive force for Oklahoma State's defense against top-ranked Florida State as he logged six tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss and two pass breakups. Ogbah and the defensive line recorded four tackles for loss and helped OSU limit the Seminoles to 3.4 yards per rush while providing a consistent pass rush on Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jameis Winston without the Cowboys needing to blitz.

Others receiving awards were TCU's Trevone Boykin for Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, and WVU's Mario Alford for Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week.
