WEEK 4 GAMEDAY GAMETHREAD AND COLLEGE FOOTBALL TV SCHEDULE

We may be suffering through a bye week, but that doesn't mean we don't have other things to do.

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

There will be no Daxx Garman deep throws or vague interviews from Gundy and Yurcich (well, the latter is still likely), but we can still talk football.

While OSU and much of the Big 12 are enjoying a day at the beach (probably feels like it), there's plenty of other action.

Kansas State, while performing admirably, still helped the Big 12 to an 0-3 record against the Big Boys. Gonna have to get over that hump if the conference wants national respect, the kind that allows a 1-loss champion to ease into a college football playoff.

The marquee game of the day for many of us will be Oklahoma at West Virginia on Fox at 7:30pm Eastern.

Not to be forgotten, Kansas hosts Central Michigan at 3:30pm Eastern on FSN. Well, maybe that should be forgotten.

There aren't a ton of interesting games today, but there's sure to be an upset or two. Yes, Florida plays Bama, but the Gators stink. Virginia @ BYU looks intriguing, maybe even Mississippi State @ LSU.

Really, the only other game that provides the kind of show we're looking for in Morgantown will be #22 Clemson at #1 Florida State because Jameis' mouth got him suspended for the game (and there are rumors he might be done for the season), but that's also tonight at 8pm on Fox opposite the Sooners and Mountaineers.

Enjoy the day and join us in the comments.
