CRFF PLAYER OF THE GAME: Oklahoma State vs Texas Tech

After a Thursday night shootout, it's time to vote for the Player of the Game.

Brett Deering

Some Thursday night fun, shiny new helmets, and the Cowboys had over 500 yards of offense and multiple turnovers, propelling the team to their first Big 12 win of the 2014 season!

It's time for you to decide who you thought was the Cowboys Ride for Free Player of the Game.

Honorable Mention

Jimmy Bean

Bean was a monster throughout the night and is proving to be a serious weapon on the defensive end.

Kevin Peterson

Although he wasn't thrown to very often, Kevin Peterson came up big in the secondary by disrupting several passes, making key tackles, and nabbing his first pick of the year.

Nominations

Daxx Garman

In his Big 12 debut, the Cowboy quarterback threw for 370 yards, four touchdowns, two interceptions, and another touchdown on the ground. Despite Garman throwing a critical red zone interception before half, he was able to open up the playbook and air it out. It felt as if every Garman throw was a deep ball. In fact, he averaged over 22 yards per completion and was able to hit three different receivers for touchdowns.

James Washington

Perhaps the newest explosive threat on offense, Washington (a true freshman) is quickly becoming the go-to deep threat after hauling in two touchdowns and 87 yards on only three catches. If it weren't for a questionable offensive pass-interference penalty, he would've had a third touchdown. Totaling three touchdown catches on the year, he has more than Justin Blackmon had in his freshman year and half as many as Dez Bryant had.

Marcell Ateman

Ateman had a coming out party of his own with a career high 130 yards on only six receptions. He lacked a touchdown, but made big plays and secured first downs when needed.

Be sure to vote and share your thoughts on the game. Swing by on Sunday to find out who the winner is!
