Just when we thought we'd get a better week of football because most of the teams were playing, think again.
These games stink.
When you can say that Texas at Kansas could likely be the most entertaining contest of the day, well, that just drags college football into the depths of, say, The Little Mermaid.
I think I'd rather watch a replay of Bedlam 2013....ok, maybe not, but you get my meaning.
Here's your Big 12 action (times are all Central):
Day | Home | Away | Time | Channel | |
Sat | Kansas State | vs | UTEP | 11:00 AM | FSN |
Sat | TCU | vs | SMU | 11:00 AM | CBSSN |
Sat | Kansas | vs | Texas | 3:00 PM | FS1 |
Sat | Iowa State | vs | Baylor | 7:00 PM | FOX |
I'm sure we're mildly interested in Baylor at Iowa State, but that will be intriguing right up until about the 10 minute mark of the first quarter, when I imagine it will be 14-0 Baylor.
The rest of the college football's offering isn't much better...
I'm sure there will be some interesting plot twists, maybe some upsets of note, but mostly garbage as most teams get in that final tune up before conference play, or are whose conference is just playing shitty football (I see you Big Ten).
As mentioned previously, the following could be of interest...
Maryland @ Indiana might be decent.
Missouri @ South Carolina, maybe.
Wes Lunt lovers and haters should be intrigued by Illinois @ Nebraska.
Have fun, and join us in the comments!
