The dead period for recruiting has ended, and this weekend is an important one for this year's class.

The Oklahoma State coaching staff has once again turned it's full attention on recruiting, as we are less than 3 weeks away from signing day. The dead period for recruiting has ended, and recruits are once again able to make official visits to campuses before making one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

OSU has arguably the most important weekend for the program's future, as several visitors are  in town this weekend. With the de-commitment of Ronald Jones last month coupled with the loss of Tyreek Hill, it is imparitive for this staff to find at least one running back to add to the depth next season. Here are the uncommitted players in Stillwater today.

RB Chris Warren

6-2 235 lbs

Rockwall HS | Rockwall, TX

★★★★ ESPN Position Rank: 9th | ESPN 300: 102nd

Offers from 27 Schools including OSU, OU, Texas, Texas Tech, and Baylor from the Big 12.

Warren is by far the highest rated uncommitted prospect that OSU is after. Chris finished his senior campaign with 2320 yards on 250 carries (9.3 yards per carry) and 34 touchdowns.  Warren recently announced his top 4 last month which included OSU, Texas, Texas Tech, and Washington. Here is what ESPN has on Warren:

Warren grows on you the more you watch him. He also plays as a defensive end which could provide some intriguing long term upside. Right now he's more of a natural, comfortable running back. He may not be the right fit for everyone, but if the offense is centered around a power run game with a downhill presence he's an ideal fit. He's extremely rangy, athletic, flexible and versatile as well. Considering his size he's a pretty fluid overall athlete which is why defense could be an option.

RB Jordan Stevenson

5-10 185 lbs

South Oak Cliff High School | Cedar Hill, Texas

★★★★ ESPN Position Rank: 34th

Committed to Wisconsin. Offers from 11 schools including Alabama, Texas, Arkansas, Ohio State, Oregon and UCLA.

Stevenson has been committed to Wisconsin for a month after de-committing from Texas, but is still taking official visits before signing day. He finished last season with 2,320 yards on 258 carries and 34 touchdowns.

WR Xavier Castille

5-10 195 lbs

Rockwall HS | Rockwall, TX

Currently not ranked

Offers from 15 Schools including OSU, Kansas, Washington, and SMU.

Castille is a teammate Chris Warren, and a very gifted athlete. Xavier rushed for 638 yards and 7 rushing touchdowns his senior season, while adding 91 catches for 1,622 yards and 19 touchdowns. Castille also runs a 4.7 in the 40-yard dash making him ideal for the slot receiver position.
