Listed at 5-7 170 lbs, Carr has flown under the radar in the recruiting world. Several schools have passed on Jeff due to his height, but his 4.4 forty time gives him a legit skill-set to compete in the Big 12. After seeing some of his game film, the coaches felt like he could be a contributor in this offense.
Carr finished his career with 2146 total yards and 20 touchdowns, while rushing for 1710 yards on 179 carries (9.6 yards per carry) and 9 touchdowns his senior year. With his play-making ability and quickness is space, Jeff could be a very dangerous home-run threat in the open field (as seen in the highlights bellow). Jeff was considering Baylor as his school of choice prior to this weekend.
Joining Todd Mays at running back, Carr becomes the 19th player to commit to the 2015 class, and the second player this weekend along with Darrion Daniels.
