INSTANT ANALYSIS: Oklahoma State 33, West Virginia 26

We complained...

We whined...

We cursed

But in the end, we survived another heart-stopping win by our beloved Cowboys, who are now one of three undefeated teams remaining in the Big 12.

Ben Queen-USA TODAY Sports

I've said this before....in golf, there is a saying:

"They don't ask how, just how many."

It hasn't been pretty. We've screamed until we're blue in the face because we continue to run the ball when it's obvious that the normal offense with Rudolph at the helm can't get anything done on the ground.

We've survived two games where the Reindeer was LESS than stellar.

We've been fairly fortunate with the penalties and injuries (knocks on lots of wood).

Ben Grogan has been clutch, hitting two consecutive game-winning field goals.

And now OSU goes into their perfectly timed bye week undefeated at 6-0, 3-0 in Big 12 play, with Kansas coming to Stillwater in two weeks. The Cowboys will most assuredly head to Lubbock on Halloween 7-0, and 4-0 in the Big 12.

Let that sink in.

Win or lose at Texas Tech, OSU will start November still controlling their own destiny, with TCU, Baylor, and OU in Stillwater.

I'll have some actual educated thoughts on the game tomorrow after I've recovered from this, so let's just soak this in...

Gundy and Company are undefeated, with a bye week coming to heal up. Pretty or not, they're winning, and will begin the month of November in contention for a Big 12 title.

GO POKES!!!
