Oklahoma State scheduled an official visit with Berryhill High School senior quarterback Nyc Burns, according to sources. Burns stands at 6-feet-5-inches and weighs in at 185 pounds. A first-year starter, Scout has Burns as a three-star quarterback but doesn't have much else on his page. According to my source, he's gotten visits at Pitt State in Kansas and Emporia State, both at the Division II level.
Although he isn't driving the hype train through the recruiting trail, one can expect that to pick up after his visit in Stillwater, which is set for November 7, when TCU comes to town. Also, when a national recruiting analyst like Greg Powers has this to say about you, you might be doing something right.

Through the seasons seven games, Burns has 1,635 passing yards with 18 touchdowns and five interceptions and completed just about 66 percent of his passes. Six of those touchdowns came against Sperry on October 9. He's also somewhat of a runner, gaining 389 yards rushing this year.
